This is what I 'm reading this week. I've read other books on Ayurveda ( the science of life )that Dr. Lad has written or collaborated on, and found them to be some of the most informative available. I am enjoying this one thoroughly.

13 Death.

A trump from the Major Arcana, Death, the Great Equalizer and Invincible Force in Life is actually the fourteenth card as the Fool is numbered 0 (unlimited potential).

While this card is often dreaded and reviled, Death is just another turn of the Wheel, a part of the Tapestry of Life. And, there are many kinds of Deaths, sometimes of Body, but just as often of Spirit, of Joy, of Love, and conversely of Limitation, Ignorance or Past Challenges.

Death is transition from one state to another or the next. It is a chance for new beginnings, and sometimes a do-over or a reset. When viewed as part of our innate process rather than something to be feared or dreaded, it becomes Opportunity, a Cubic Centimeter of Chance to transform our reality.

Change, Transformation, Destruction of Old Patterns, Rebirth, Renewal...

Today's Tarot Pull is The Star-- XVII in the Major

Today's Tarot Pull is The Star-- XVII in the Major Arcana. The Deck we are using today is the Original Tarot Premium Edition, a recreated version of the Rider-Waite classic that comes boxed and includes a guide book.

The Star is a fortuitous card, bringing with it Hope, Renewal and Strength. It depicts a young woman holding two jugs of liquid [emotional energy]. She pours one into the water and one onto the land.
