Fifty Years Since the First Earth Day…
And we haven’t even started to do enough. I can’t believe, having participated in one way or another in this Celebration for most of those years, that more progress hasn’t been made. The effort to raise Awareness of this Planet’s plight has been going on for more than a half century, and while more people are indeed Aware, the situation remains much as always. Certainly, many more people are actively trying to make changes. their have been accords and agreements, the Talking Heads have debated the issue at length. Legislation has been passed to protect the environment, and then summarily overturned when it suited the current “Powers that Be”.
Shame on us All!
Right now we are in the midst of what has been described as a Global Pandemic. Perhaps what it really should be is a Global Wake-Up Call. Much has been made about the fact that pollution levels have dropped drastically in just the short time that Humans have been required (or mandated) to curtail their ordinary activities. That’s enlightening, but not really much else. The world may not return to the way it was before precisely, but will anything fundamental regarding our environment change enough to make a difference? I doubt it. It is true that this, like many other crisis’ before, has served to Wake Up a small percentage of the population, but I doubt the impact will be large or lasting. So we wait for the next crisis. More fires, more natural disasters, more illness and whatever plagues lie in store. This planet is overcrowded, it is poisoned, and treated as garbage dump and as endless supplier of of finite resources for our use and abuse.
Wake Up Call
Am I a cynic? Where human nature is concerned, I guess Yes would be the answer. We only change when we are forced, whether through coercion, trauma or expansion of consciousness. Since Expansion of Consciousness most often results from the first two on that list, major Events, and most often dire ones in our lives, are required to facilitate same. There are some people that actively pursue the spiritual or essential growth of Self, but that usually rises out of some deep sense of lack or dissatisfaction with life.
I have been telling anyone willing to listen that it is time to Wake Up, Time to Change, for years. The message is coming from many directions these days, and more are listening, but the case for whether or not it is too little too late is still very much out. The race is on as far as I can tell. Will the broken tattered remnants of the Third and Fourth Dimensional Earth’s last long enough for those inhabiting them to Wake Up? Can the human element on Earth make real changes, not just in themselves, but in the way they treat one another and the Planet they depend on for life? It’s a tall order, but there is Hope.
The Fifth Dimension
There is a great deal of talk among the spiritually oriented, on a variety of media, about 5D, about the New Earth and the upcoming Shift. What does all of this mean? Change is in the air, and there are as many opinions about it as there are writers and speakers. A great many expect it this year or next. I’ve seen just as many channels and bloggers state that it will be in five years, ten or more. There is little agreement, and much mis-information. What is 5D, or fifth dimensional consciousness anyway, and what will this New Earth be like?
Unity Consciousness—where the mass consciousness gives way to the Noosphere and the individual is superseded by the We, the collective Identity. It is the dimension in which we discard all of the old Dualities. The constant struggle between masculine and feminine, good and evil, darkness and light gives way to balance and cessation of judgement. Time ceases to be divided between past, present and future, our linear perception falls away and we become time travelers in the Eternal Now. Truth, not the malleable, moldable truth of lower dimensions, but the Higher truth, becomes easier to Discern. Opinion and Castigation give way to neutrality and consideration. Love becomes motive rather than static and abstract.
It sounds wonderful, and it is. At present there are already millions of people who have attained this so called 5D (or beyond) consciousness level, and many more in the process of waking up. However, Millions when compared to the Billions of corporeal beings presently inhabiting Earth is a drop in the bucket. As a race, humanity, even with a great deal of assistance from all of the higher dimensional beings contributing to this evolution, are lagging behind the planet they live on. Gaia/Earth has already Ascended into a fifth dimensional centered Awareness just as she did into fourth dimension in 1987, well ahead of most of her cargo of Life. Space is being held, the third and fourth dimensional bands of awareness are being maintained, but this is not an open ended deal. It is Ascend, or Die and find yourself incarnated in a prepared world on another planet, once more caught in karmic and cyclical webs.
And for those who have attained these higher states of conscious awareness, this is no end all or be all. The Process continues. as you shed successive layers of that old, physically oriented Self and go through the process of liberating yourself and your entire worldview from the old, worn patterns.
The New Earth
While it might be nice to believe that you are going to Walk through the Gates, or Portal, or just Shift in Consciousness into that New Earth, this is not the case. It is the height of arrogance and hubris to think that Mother Earth is going to welcome beings who, while they may have progressed in awareness and spiritually, do not know how to live gently on the planet.
Will She give carte blanche to ones do not know how to care for their Home, but instead waste Her resources, use Her as a garbage heap and wantonly destroy Her with industry, both technological and agricultural. Are you going to give up your shiny devices that have to be replaced every year or continue to buy into the throw away and buy new mentality, the attitude that all is disposable? Look at a landfill and you will know this is not true. Are you ready to become a Steward of the Earth, to live on less, to sacrifice for the planet and your fellow beings? These are the questions we need to answer when we consider whether it is Time for us to Enter the New Earth.
Do I think that I am ready for this step? In a word—No. But I am ready to learn. I am willing to change and sacrifice for this beautiful jewel of a Planet we are privileged to be incarnated on in this momentous age. Really think about Earth Day, and what it should mean, today, and every Today thereafter. Heal the Planet and Heal yourself.
I spoke of the World, or more accurately, collection of Etheric Awareness Gestalts that I call Bensalem in a previous post related to me by the Masters who maintain it. It is essentially a training ground, an Awareness Band established by various of the Ascended Masters, including Lord Arcturus, Metatron, Sunat Kumara, KwanYin and many more, where ones are encouraged to learn to live and function in an Etheric setting that prepares its inhabitants to Live in and Serve the Fifth Dimensional New Earth. It is a buffer between the old third and fourth dimensional constructs, and the emerging Planetary Consciosuness. She is on a voyage of growth, already moving towards sixth dimensional awareness and beyond. Each of us must choose for ourselves whether we are willing to do what it takes to accompany Her.
